My friend are coming to Mk shopping on Wed from 10am - till about 2.30.
Where is the best and most reasonable place to park please?

    Thanks

Ps just found a really good parking map of MK, see there are free spaces behing John Lewis after 9.30am. What is the chance of getting one of these around 10am? What is the best way to enter this car park?

    Thank you again

Parking Varies from Free in a Green ZOne to £1 an hour in a red zone, on a wednesday it should be fairly easy to get parked in a Purple zone at 25p an hour. The spaces by John Lewis would be worth a try at that time! However the nearer to christmas we get the harder it will be to park anywhere after 9am. Should be ok now though!

Just wanted to let everyone know of some very poor non service I received from Giffard Park Travel (http://www.gpp-travel.co.uk) and a man called Reece who runs it. I had prebooked to be collected from Luton airport upon flight arrival at 1:30am this morning to take me home yet when I arrived at the drop off/pick up zone at 1:20am his mobile phone was turned off....I waited and waited and kept trying to call. By 2:30am I was starting to get very angry and gave up and called a very reliable speedline who rushed a cab out to me. By the time they arrived I was like an ice block after waiting for nearly 2 hours in the bitter cold. I dont often spread the word about poor service but I think I need to on this occasion - what if I had been an elderly person or had a young baby with me? There is no excuse for not calling if there is a problem or to refuse a job if the time is unsuitable - he has not even had the decency to call nd apologise. I wouldnt touch this man with a barge pole in the future. Speedline however are truly superb and at only £25 it takes the stress out of everything :T

Out of curiosity I took a look at the website; he has a major grammatical error: "weather business or holiday..." instead of "whether business or holiday..." and two inappropriately used aposthrophes. This alone would put me off using him.

:rotfl:LOL good luck with that one!
MK is an absolute NIGHTMARE to park in and costs a bomb. The only place in the red zone that ever has any free spaces are outside Debenhams. Otherwise try to get in one of the office block car parks opposite M&S.

Hi, just my tuppence regarding bad local service. Castle Estates in Stony Stratford, in our experience, are awful.
The house we're renting used to be through MK L&M, who were great, always helpful and maintenance issues solved quickly. Then they were taken over by Castle Estates.... if you can get someone to answer the phone, they will tell you your problem is dealt with and they'll take a message, you never get a call back. My latest maintenance issues have been going on for months, in fact ever since CE took over. All I keep being told is "we're trying to get hold of the landlord", yet when I handed in my notice, I got a letter through within 2 days saying "we've contacted the landlord".
Can't get hold of landlord for 3 months for maintenance yet manage to do it in one day for reletting? Very shoddy (much like their premises).
Not to mention their standard 'our last attempt to rip you off last month huge rent bill' charge.

Here's hoping this'll save someone else a lot of bother.
    :)

We were going to go there last week, hadn't realised they had moved.

Had MAJOR problems finding the new store, then when I saw it had an underground car park, (I'm severely claustrophobic) gave up and went to Morrisons at Westcroft - where I paid less than I expected for my shopping!
