When does it start? Thinking about going away either just before it starts or just after and was wondering...
2p off is still 2p off!

I class the peak season as when the kids are on holiday - therefore, between the 20 something of July and early September. So a good time to go away would be late June/early July or 2nd week of September. In terms of costs, lots of places class July as peak season, so you might not save any money, but you should get a bit of peace and quiet!0

It all depends on where you want to go ...I have found really good deals to places like Sri Lanka for July, May and early June are good for getting deals in Greece.
Canaries its pot luck they are always popular
CARIBBEAN (Cuba, Dom Rep and Mexico) good deals from June onward because its the hot and humid season and the later you go up to end of October more chance of big storms or hurricans so prices are good.
Maldives same as Caribbean anyting from late may onwards you can get good deals
Or pack your case and book the night before we have had some crackers doing it that way but you cant be fussy where you go
Kos 5*BB £69
Orlando 427 for 2 weeks inculding carhire and all insurance September but we did have a tornado and got caught up in the back lash of hurrican Mitch
Just after 9/11 we got 2 weeks 4*HB in Cyprus for 159 October half term
You will aslo get great deals now to the Red Sea ...the bombing happend in Dahab but it will affect the prices all over but hese will recover in a couple of weeks.
I have just found one for my nephew 1 week 4* AI to sharm flights transfers 626 for them both 20th Sept
I am not saying we wont these dreadful things to happen it does affect the cost of holidays
While the world cups on as long as England are still in you will get cheap deals but as soon as they are out or its over which ever comes first ....lol
The price will rocket up
sorry for going on but lots of thing alter the costIf you look anything like your passport photo....Your too ill to travel0 -

Cheers, we're a bit split as to where to go at the moment. It's either Turkey or LA and a few days in Vegas, this all depends on a bonus I'm due at work!!! Or maybe Rome or Lisbon.2p off is still 2p off!0

Hi saveapenny you say pack your bags and pick up a late deal and I'd love to do that but I always lose nerve can you give me a few pointers! Bearing in mind I've got 2 kids plus hubby (makes 3) who would need motivating into taking such a chance!
Thanks in advance.0 -
I wouldnt do it with kids ...you dont know where you are going to get and besides getting 4 seats on a late is harder than getting 2.
You would be better off looking for a good DIYIf you look anything like your passport photo....Your too ill to travel0
