Ladies & Gents:
A weird problem that has me stumped. We have a printed an Epson DX7450. We use it connected to 2 machines in turn (plug & unplug USB cable), the wife's desktop (XP) and my laptop, usually running Ubuntu but can boot to Vista.
From Ubuntu or Vista off my Laptop it prints fine, no worries. Everything works - scanning, changing quality etc, can see the levels of the ink (all 4 OK).
From the wife's XP desktop it prints, albeit very very slowly, after bunging up "This document failed to print" messages, several times...
I've deleted the printer & re-installed having downloaded a fresh driver from Epson. Same problem!
Suggestions guys??
Regards & Thanks in advance..

B****er, sorted, I think....
As is the way when you post a query... The cable from the printer goes into an extension USB lead. Plugging it directly into another USB post sorted it.
Apologies, but I'll leave this hear in case anyone else hits a similar one...
Cheers!
