Hope someone can help.
I've seen (in the past) a contraption (about 8" long) which consists of a length of nails which can be used as a mould for such things as skirting boards so that the shape can be copied.
Done a search on several DIY sites but can't find.
Can anyone please tell me what they are called (so that I can search intelligently) and/or where I may purchase one.
Many thanks in advance

The only reason I keep smiling is so that people wonder what I've been up to !!0 -
A bit "Blue Peter" but cardboard is good...particularly cereal packets. You'll also need a sharp pencil and a craft knife (penknife or stanley knife will do)
For bigger projects like for example panels a against wall just offer up the panel to the wall, get a spacer of some sort (offcut of wood will do) that will allow you to run a pencil a fixed distance from the wall - pencil line will follow the wall. Did this the other day myself and after cutting with a rip saw was accurate to a millimetre within a metre.
