HSBC & Barclays threaten to take me to court

Hi guys,

i have 2 accounts, well 3 Barclays, HSBC and Halifax.

I use mainly H/Fax as the other 2 accounts are over drawn and a little over the od limits. this is largely due to the unfair fees being applied to my account and then them charging me interest on the debit balance which makes it worse so they charge me again and then add more interest!
I have gone down the financial hardship route with hsbc and they are being total ******* they wont listen and wont help and refuse to repay any charges or even listen to me, i really cant afford to give them any money but they says that despite this if i dont pay them anything then they will pass my account to a debt collections agency.

Can they do this even with the impending bank charges case?

I am worried that Barclays will do the same :-(((

I would appreciate any help, has anyone had any successes?

OFT debt collection guidelines mean that the account is in dispute whilst the OFT test case is ongoing. Might be worth offering them £1.00 a month until the conclusion as a gesture of goodwill on your part, ie you aren't running away from the alleged debt but the lawfulness of bank charges has yet to be decided.
I have not worked for NatWest Bank since February 2009

Thanks... I'll make them an offer and see what happens!
