Future of Food - BBC2 Monday night

  • George Alagiah had dinner with a family in the UK - the family were 'on a budget' and for the meal they had 2 frozen lasagnes (£2 each) some frozen potato waffles (£1) and some value beans (35p each). They had some no added sugar Robinsons juice (the family said they wanted the healthy option)

I did not watch it, but I can do a korma for 8 people from about £5. No wonder the BBC is so gutterish with its media output today

4 packets of Button Mushrooms (BOGOF) £1.76
Tin of Cambells [sic] Mushroom soup £0.45
    Rice, part long grain, £0.50
    Spices £0.50
    Naan Bread £1
    Coconut Dried £0.25

Depends how grumpy I am to taste (the grumpier, the hotter)

And a dam site better then MUPPET food.
