Congrats Chunkyu!!
I am only at the enquiry stage!
I must say though, reading everyone's help and support off this site is MOST encouraging.
I just need CCCS BR to get back to me know, so that I can discuss it further with them.......I hope they contact me soon before I back out!
I keep thinking, maybe I should wait and offer my creditors a token payment. BUT as CCCS have already pointed out to me, to pay £27k will take me well over 30 years to clear!! Whereas, I could be made BR and cleared from poor credit after 6yrs. Why am I making things more difficult for myself?????0 -
Congrats Chunkyu
DD, just a note on token payment, we have gone down that route first, most creditors haven't accepted and even the ones that did have still continued to charge us interest, so your 30 years on token payment could easily turn into 60  Even though we've been told that by law they cannot refuse the token payment, it is up to the goodness of their heart if they want to freeze the interest. Needless to say - nope.0 -
Does anyone know if you can choose which Court to go to? Prob seems a stange question.....the reason I ask, is my local County Court is Stafford, but I know several people who work there - and through shame/embaressment, I'd rather them not see me there or my name on any paperwork.0

unfortunatley you have to attend the court in the area you have lived for the last 6mnths or so.....so you wouldnt have a choice (besides they wont know why your there...if they stop & ask tell them your on jury duty for a very juicy case!)We all die.
