Hi,
I have been working for my current employer for 13 years now (since i left school).
Back in January of this year our days were cut back to 4 days (from 5) as work was slowing down and they didnt want to lay anyone off.
Since then things havent got alot better and as off 5 weeks ago we had our days cut down to 3 days a week.
As you can understand 3 days a week is a big drop in income and as it stands now i am £400 per month worst off and it's finally starting to take its toll.
I am currently seeking work else where as i carnt survive on the money drop.
I heard from a friend that i can claim my redundancy from my current employer even if i get another job due to my being on short time for so long ? , i have no idea if this is true or how i would go about it , so any advice would be excellent.
Kind Regards.

You must have agreed to the changes in your working week and, I hope, the timescale ie for 3 months only.
The job is still there so not likely to be able to claim redundancy.0
