A small cupboard cut into the cupboard under the stairs. It also houses the gas meter. The house was built with it in during the 1930s and is one of the 'quirks' I fell in love with when buying it.0

I keep mine in cardboard shoe boxes (sometimes show shops have them to give away as not everyone wants the box when they buy shoes) and the ones currently being worn all the time - 1 trainers, 1 sandals, 1 walking boot etc - on a shoe rack under the coat pegs in the hall0

I have a cupboard in my bedroom which has a wooden three tier shoe rack in it. The shoes I wear the most often are on the rack, and the others are in boxes piled against the side walls.0
