Storing shoes tidily ?

I have a shoe cupboard from Argos in the hall and all the rest are stacked in their boxes under the stairs with the names of whose they are. My DD keeps hers in an underbed storage box (the ones with wheels) under her bed.
You could adapt old drawers and put casters on them - does the same jobBlessed are the cracked for they are the ones that let in the light

Mine are in those green boxes you get from Tesco - the ones that salad arrive at Mr T in? (they stack neatly and can get quite a few pairs in each box) But I usually wear the pair of flip flops I keep by the door0

We have a shoe cupboard in the hall and I bought some clear plastic storage ones from Home bargains for the ones I dont wear very often, having to pay for individual boxes made me consider if I really needed them!Cross Stitch Challenge Member ?Number 2013 challenge = to complete rest of millenium sampler.0

We also have the shoe cupboard from Argos. I was fed up tripping over shoes in the hall. This has done the trick for taking most of them. The rest are in the bottom of everyones wardrobes.

I have a rack in the bottom of my wardrobe which came from ikea. My DP has a stacking-box type thing, which came from Lakeland. Both work well.0

We have a 3-tier bamboo thing that sits in a corner of the diningroom - we don't have many pairs between us. If I ever get organised enough to sort out the pantry aka cupboard under the stairs, it will go in there."Save £12k in 2019" #120 - £100,699.57/£100,0000

I have a hanging canvas thingy from tesco. A flap with Velcro attaches over the clothes rail in wardrobe. It then drops down and holds about eight pairs officially but you can get two pairs into each compartment if they aren't boots. It only takes up the width of a few coat hangers of clothes.
Then I chuck the rest in a messy heap int he bottom of of the wardrobe.Norn Iron Club member 4730
