I sent off the template letter last week to Northern Rock requesting a copy of the original loan agreement which related to the unsecured loan I had with them. I have received this in the post today but I cannot see anywhere on the paperwork how much PPI I was paying. Am I missing something somewhere or am I just being dumb?!!

All it basicially tells me is the period of loan agreement, loan amount and the interest rate and APR.

Can someone please advise if I need to request something else.

and no you not being dumb lol......:D.

Is this on a settled account, or is this still running, if settled you need to request that they send you a written breakdown, another way is to request a Subject Access Request (SAR), where they have 40 days to comply to send everything they can requested on the SAR, although there is a charge of £10 postal order or cheque payment for this.

If you have not done this yet it "may" be worthwhile, or try the other first by asking if they can post out the calculations free of charge.

ahh i see! I thought by just sending the request for the credit agreement it would have shown the PPI, nevermind!! I will send off the SAR with another £10 cheque, honestly I have sent off so many £10 cheques I have better get some charges and PPI back or I wont be happy!

Hi hun and your welcome.;)
The agreement should show the loan amount borrowed and the PPI etc, and I think you should have the terms and conds with this as well, although most of mine differ to one to another.

Yes these £10 adds up don't they?:eek:
