Support Breast Cancer Care by joining the 41,000 faces campaign!

Options
This is a great campaign and I'm sure anyone who has been touched in some way by Breast Cancer will want to take part, help Boots and Breast Cancer Care find 41,000 faces to break a world record, raise awareness and raise money too!

https://www.41000faces.org.uk
This year we have linked up with Boots in an ambitious project to show the scale of breast cancer in Britain and to highlight the importance of breast awareness for everyone, regardless of social, cultural or ethnic background.

What ‘41,000 faces’ is all about

Every year, over 41,000 people from all walks of life are newly-diagnosed with breast cancer.

To show what this looks like in reality, Breast Cancer Care and Boots have launched a nationwide search for 41,000 people who have been touched personally by breast cancer.

With your help we want to highlight the importance of being breast aware to everybody in Britain because breast awareness is essential for detecting breast cancer earlier and improving the chance of survival.

'I’m delighted to be taking part in the Boots/Breast Cancer Care 41,000 Faces campaign and I hope that this photo of Tracy and me will be the first of 41,000 photos sent in. If you have been closely touched by breast cancer, please support this campaign and send in your photo – help others to understand the scale of the disease and the importance of being breast aware.'

Record breaking
Our aim is to launch the biggest online photographic exhibition ever (the current world record-holder is 33,401 photos) and also to turn the photos into a unique exhibit which will be launched for Breast Cancer Awareness Month in October 2006.
