I've made a big mistake with mortgage & title deeds

Did the question not come up when you applied for the mortgage. Was it done via broker, in branch or online?

It was done on line, and I challenged the advice given, but they said they listened to the transcripts of the conversations and that I was at fault.

I can't say hand on heart why I never put her on the application other than somebody either told me, or, I read somewhere that only those working could appear on a mortgage application.

Anyway, as long as my mortgage company allow me to do a Transfer of Equity, and my wife gets onto the deeds, we will both be happy.
