Lidl - good customer service

I bought some peaches from Lidl last week for 99p. They went mouldy and rotten within two days and I had to throw them all out. I emailed their customer service about it, and was pleased and surprised to get a £5 voucher in the post yesterday! :T

I find their fruit 'n veg goes off quickly.

They haven't replied to my complaint re wrong pricing on their mince after five days.

I was in Lidl yesterday. I didn't have a pound coin for the trolleys so I grabbed a spare bread pallet and was putting my stuff in that as I went round. As I was nearing the end of my shop through the manager noticed and approached me and asked if I needed a trolley. I told him I didn't have the necessary coin on me and he said "no problem" and went to get one. I didn't need one at this point, but I thought that was pretty good customer service. Thanks, manager of Surrey Quays Lidl!

He thought you were going to nick the bread pallett
It's taken me years of experience to get this cynical

Heh! Probably. Just what I need - a massive plastic pallett with holes in it! They'll have them in the "bits in the middle" section next week, no doubt.
