WELSH-DRAGON wrote:Kronen - oops little one was near the PC when I went to get the car keys ! obviously his typing skills at 4 aren't as good as mine ! little horror, at least he didn't post about Spongebob !
Anyway, we went to Pizza Hut today, one adult and 3 children, the children had the buffet x 3, ice-cream factory x 3, unlimited drinks and I had my free Sun pizza - oh and a slice of cheesecake.
The "extras" we had with ours today was welded to the cultery  I heard at least 4 people complaining of dirty tables and cutlery there. It was disgusting. It was hard managing 3 children under 8 as their food was consumed before mine arrived which meant I had 3 bored children with me ! so I got them to box up my freebie pizza and I will have it later. The bill still came to over £20 so not much of a freebie there then !
Afterwards, we went to the Museum of Welsh Life (St Fagans) and on arrival back at my car discovered it had been dented with a huge silver mark on the passenger door. Complained to the car park owner but they said there wasn't anything they could do
It all seemed like a good idea at the time
Welsh Dragon, I can not believe you spent some money, you are one of the greatest hunters on here. I also forgot to add the plastic spoon for the ice cream factory broke in my daughters mouth making her choke. I am really seriously put off by freebies, was going to get sucked into the express principles offer but I bet the cheap stuff will have gone by time I get there, making me spend yet again!!!
You did do well on £20.00 though.0 -
Thanks Kronen - did your children get plastic spoons then ? we had to wait for nearly 10 mins before we had any metal spoons - the cutlery was so dirty too that I double checked all the kiddies spoons after the having dirty forks.
I still have 2 vouchers to use so with my no spend strategy I will be phoning them through and collecting on the way home from the office, therefore not spending anything and having a night of no cooking !
I think I prefer my red dragon avatar so have changed it back ! I'm also going to have to find out the voucher policy at Asda cardiff bay as I really fancy a dress there and wonder if I can use vouchers there too against my purchases. I know Tescos do but not sure about Asda

Not sure about the cashiers in Asda, (bit hit or miss with these, some will, some won't), but I can confirm that the self scan tills will take any kind of coupons (mine will anyway). Got about £13 worth of goods the other day for the pricely sum of £2.30. I'm pretty sure you can self scan the clothes through too (you can take them with your shopping throught the normal tills, I know this).

Went in yesterday, got 2 starters (B1G1HP), 2 adult desserts (B1G1HP), a child's pizza meal with ice cream factory & 2 adult drinks (with free refills) along with our large 2 topping pizza free & it still came to £16!2025 - finally back comping after a stressful house move - send me fairy dust please0

Always been black plastic spoons and it's the second time one has broke. I think you may still have to cook tonight 2 pizzas dosen't go far between a family, do a bit of salad and cook some chips to accompany the pizza.
My shopping bill has only been £30.00 this week as the cupboards are still full, so I have saved something with this offer.0 -
i feel the better deals on these have been from the collections ..Those we love don't go away,They walk beside us every day,Unseen, unheard, but always near,

phoned up yesterday for a pizza to be picked up....They had no large pizzas left in the two restaurants that I phoned...So they made us two medium pizzas instead for free with the voucher...How can they run out of large pizza's??
Still happy with 2 medium though..0 -
Hiya Kronen - yes I will be cooking extra things with the pizzas - actually still have several free bags of mccain chips in the freezer from the recent Sun offer. Probably will go there Thursday night.
I am guessing but I expect the next major Sun freebie giveaway will be Fathers Day so I will be looking out for that one - welshy x

The offer runs out on Sunday I believe, so went to Asda to get the dress that I mentioned above had £5.00 off using vouchers, went to Tescos had in total £35 off (including BOGOFs) and then drove past Pizza Hut to pick up my pre-ordered 2 Free pizzas. The girl on the counter was lovely and as I had a couple of minutes to wait she asked would I like a free drink whilst I was waiting ! ah bless, mind you it is quite tropical here in Wales today.
Shame all my vouchers have now been used, still £60 of free pizza was a great deal.
