Buying property to rent in Dubia

Has anyone any experience in buying property to rent in dubia... what the pro's and cons are.. There is major project work going on over there so would it be wise to buy now off plan?? Any ideas?

I work for a UK company that specialises in overseas investment property.

I like Dubai - we offer it to our clients but it's really a long term investment. As previous posters have said; there's an awful lot of property closing at the moment. We make clients aware of this and the fact that there are better products available.

If you're looking for a property with strong holiday rentals have you considered Barbados?

Whoever you buy from make sure you go and check out their company, see their set-up and make sure you can trust them. There are lots of shady agents in this industry - it's worth doing your homework.
