Please tell me which pub you bought a few mates drinks for £6.60!
  • Lol it was 3 Shoots @ £2.20 Each, but the machine was taking long it spent a few minutes dailing out so maybe a fault with the machine. anyway i can't do anything as pub is closed for 10 days for rebrishment, and i don't wanna contact the bank before asking them

Have a look for which chain owns the pub and contact them directly, they may be able to point you in the right direction
  • well its Greene King But i would Rather speak to the Managament 1st see what they can do but problem is it closed for about 10days as its been redone up

I would not wait 10 days...could you pop round during the refurb...manager is bound to be around. If not, keep your eye on your account as it may resolve itself....if it does not do so by the end of the week flag it up to your bank.

Greene King may have a contact number for the landlord or pub manager if he or she isn't around during the refurb

I certainly wouldn't leave it 10 days!! Pop in ASAP and ask if the manager is around.

Do you remember the name of the person who served you? Do you still have the receipt saying "transaction void"?

(If the transaction was declined, you would have been given a receipt saying so...)
Should've = Should HAVE (not 'of')
Would've = Would HAVE (not 'of')

No, I am not perfect, but yes I do judge people on their use of basic English language. If you didn't know the above, then learn it! (If English is your second language, then you are forgiven!)
  • Yeah I know his name as we use the pub a lot as well we are locals lol, I try and pop down there tomorrow

You can't do cash back with a Credit Card!

Hahahaha - correct! (Although Yes, you can quite easily)

Sounds as if the landlord was doing you a big favour! naughty naughty if the CC company found out.

Basically you are getting a cash advance at no cost.

Landlord did it for me once in a pub - generally the transaction wouldn't show up anywhere but I dont think the cc company would approve of the retailer doing it!
