V Festival tickets purchase via See Tickets - Not arrived.

Hello
I purchase 2x V Festival weekend tickets from See Tickets, they have still not arrived and the event is this weekend.
The online tracking is completely useless as all it ever states is ‘the ticket are being dispatched shortly’. The customer service is even worst and all they do is repeat what is on screen, but add a little lie........."Your tickets will be dispatched tomorrow".
I had this same problem a few months back when trying to receive my B Springsteen tickets. I was on the phone to them for two weeks solid, being told every day "Your tickets will be dispatched tomorrow", and yet they never arrived. In the end I had to collect on site and that was a nightmare just trying to arrange that.
Problem is I cannot now go due to illness, however, my mate is still going and therefore needs the ticket. So what do I do? Judging by past performance and the fact that everybody else now seems to have received their tickets, I don't think the tickets will turn up.
As far as I can see, I have two options...
1. Give my mate back his money for the ticket and he can source elsewhere. Then when the tickets don't arrive, and See Tickets don't contact me to collect on site (as per terms and conditions), I should then be able to get a refund.
2. Chase See Tickets and arrange for tickets to be collected on site. However, my mate would then have to try and sell my ticket, and that’s even if See hand over the tickets in the first place as he will be using my ID. Not liking this option much as I first have to chase See Tickets just to arrange collection, its hassle for my mate, and I may be left out of pocket at the end of it.
I'm leaning towards option one, however, do you think See Tickets WILL refund me? Due to the terms and conditions, I should be able to get a refund if they fail contact me via phone, email or letter.
Judging by the fact that I've not once received a reply to any of my emails, I don't think they have the skill set to work email just yet. Judging by the fact that several supervisors has never once returned any of my calls, I suspect they try to avoid making any phone calls in fear of taking out an eye. As for sending a letter, if they knew how to do that, they probably would have just sent the tickets in the first place.

Any advise would be much appreciated.

Lots of people are still awaiting their tickets, so they'll probably still arrive.0

Call Seetickets!
I did then they can tell you the exact day your tickets were sent and where they are!
Call them on the national rate phone number : 01159454591Wins Pre-2011 : Arctic Monkeys Tickets
2011 Wins:Two and A Half Men Series 1-8 DVD Boxset0 -
Yep, tried that. All I get is "Tickets will be dispatch tomorrow". They have the exact same info as I get when I track online, no more, no less.
Does anyone have advise on refund, as per above please?0 -
Personally i would never bank on getting a refund from ticketing companies.
They have miss-sold me tickets last year over the phone (long story) and all I got was tickets are Non-Refundable and you were aware of this when you booked.
All seetickets have to do is to actually get the tickets to you by the morning of the event. And if they are going to lose money they will have a posty turn up at your door with a "sorry you were out" slip, which would pass the blame onto you for not being in.
I would arrange for collection, then sell them on at just above face value near the gate, therefore you don't lose money for the hassle.Wins Pre-2011 : Arctic Monkeys Tickets

Yep I fully agree, I can't see them refunding you as there is still a few days for tickets to arrive- albeit they are cutting it fine. I'm sure they'll let someone collect on your behalf though given the timescale- I've collected before for someone else and the ticket company in question asked me t provide an email from the original buyer and proof of my ID. Not to say that SEE will do this.....
Keep phoning- and demand to speak to someone more important, take their name and detail the call time and find out exactly what you are entitled to should they not arrive in time. If they say they were sent today- then you call back tomorrow when they don't arrive detailing EXACTLY what they said, and who said it.0 -
Sorry to hear that you're still waiting on V tickets. Mine arrived from SeeTickets over two weeks ago which surprised me as they don't normally arrive till the same week as the event.
I'm sure you'll be able to claim non-delivery as they are posted via Special Delivery and require a signature on receipt.
If you have no joy there's a few genuine folk selling V tickets (at face value) on the efestivals forum:

Hope you get sorted - it's a great line-up and the weather looks promising.0 -

This is assuming they have been sent though, which it sounds like they haven't. When you book tickets you don't know with 100% certainty when they will arrive, even though it usually states up to 5 days beforehand, so theoretically they could still arrive tomorrow or thursday- and in that case I'd imagine the odds of claiming a refund will be very slim.0 -
I wasn't in when my tickets were delivered, I contacted the delivery company and they had sent them back to See tickets who have now told me I have to collect them at the festival. Problem is I can't go to the festival and wanted to sell my ticket but now I can't get the ticket until the actual festival so not sure if I will get a buyer! I wont buy from See tickets again they have been a nightmare, usually use ticketmaster as they deliver via royal mail....so much easier! NEVER USE SEE TICKETS AGAIN!0

I have a nightmare with see tickets, they said my tickets were delievered and then never arrived. I have been chasing the issue for a week and half now. DX are saying they posted them but I never got them.
I can not get replacement tickets and I am told that I am not going to get a refund. Customer service at See tickets is the wrost I have ever come across. I will use them again.
Now I have no ticket (can afford to buy a new one without a refund) and I am £180 down.
Has anyone else had this problem?0
