Lapland as you may have guessed is very cold and you will need all the proper clothing to keep you warm. It is however a lovely trip but very expensive and if your children are very young you might want to wait until they are old enough to appreciate it and not just be miserable from the cold.
Lots of holiday companys do the trips and sometimes it is cheaper to book at the last minute and get a late deal but this might not be applicable if you want to plan ahead.0
