I've read the guide but I'm still a bit confused. Lloyds.

Hi everyone,
first post so please be nice.
After Lloyds taking out a bank charge that I wasn't aware I'd even incurred (thanks to them posting it to my old address), their £150 of charges has sent my account into unplanned overdraft, hence now attracting even MORE fees. I'm sick of these and decided I want to try getting my money back.
I've been banking with Lloyds for about 3 years, and in the last year or so I'm pretty sure I've racked up about £600 in charges.
I'm looking at the letters on the website, but I'm still not entirely sure what to do. Do I go through all of my statements, add up the charges, and then send the letter template? Are they likely to say no? If so, why would they say no, if these charges have been deemed "unfair"?
Also I've heard reports that banks are refusing to pay out now, if so is it not worth it?
Finally, are there any tips you can give me?
I've had a look through the guides and the Lloyds TSB forum, but as much as I want to do this, I don't want to fall on my backside and they put notes on my account for me whining asking for my charges. I can't afford to lose this money - I've just lost my job, I'm a student and I've got things to pay off.
So, hope someone can help me out. Sorry if I'm just being a pest. But thank you

Why was the address incorrect?

Are they likely to say no? it's a 50/50 chance
If so, why would they say no, if these charges have been deemed "unfair"? They haven't been deemed as unfair,as such. The OFT test case is deciding whether the charges can be assessed for fairness and then the next stage might be litigation on the charges being fair or otherwise.
Also I've heard reports that banks are refusing to pay out now, if so is it not worth it? Banks do not payout unless you are in financial hardship and even then they do not have to payout even 1p under hardship.
Finally, are there any tips you can give me? Start the process.

Hi there, thanks so much. I'm reading the "financial hardship" part and am going to try it, owing to really, really crappy financial outgoings and incomings. I've added it up with £399 to claim from Lloyds TSB and £88 from Natwest. So, here's hoping!0

You missed the first question. Was there an issue with regards to the address change?TypicalPennilessStudent wrote: »Hi there, thanks so much.
