If Jamie or his family want any help in dealing with the after effects of his cerebral haemorrhage, he can get lots of hints and support from other stroke and CH survivors at https://www.differentstrokes.co.uk
This is a charity set up for younger stroke survivors (including cerebral haemorrhage) and lots of people post on our messageboard to share their experiences of living with - and more important recovering from - the experiences of stroke and disability.
Hope this is helpful!Ex board guide. Signature now changed (if you know, you know).0 -

Football fan due for skull operation
A Telford man who has been waiting for more than a year for a vital operation to have part of his skull replaced will undergo the operation this week.
Jamie Turner, 46, of Madeley has been campaigning for Telford & Wrekin Primary Care Trust to bring the date of his operation forward since he underwent life-saving surgery in May last year.
Mr Turner was left fighting for his life after he was attacked on his way to a Manchester United match in Southampton. He woke from a coma after three weeks despite doctors telling his wife and two children he may not survive his injuries.
Surgeons had to remove part of his skull to remove a blood clot which could have killed the father-of-two.

And about time too. All the best Jamie0
