I wish it was this time. £1534 to go out £1433 in or to come in so 101 short. The shortfall will come from the xmas budget of £150. May have some more cash in from friend also expenses are hard to judge so could gain there. Debt is still coming down slowly so thats good.

Going to do a bit of baking today that might help with GC budget. Catalogue have offered £25 off an order over £50 so will pick up so bits there thinking kids pajamas as all three are wearing stuff thats too small and maybe some xmas or birthday pressies

Still got to get BB a card :(, and a cake. Will surprise him later and take him bowling after school.

Is that the friend who owes you quite a bit of money? Did you get any further with arranging for her to start repaying you properly? Hope it ends up balancing out okay :)

Happy birthday to your DS! :bdaycake:

  • Yes same friend. Im fairly confident she will pay something but wont count it until I get it. She has just been hit for 60 bank charges so have emailed her Martins info on that. A bit of prompting and hopefully in a few months she will get that and any other charges back. She has had a real run of bad luck so Im happy if I get a token payment its when nothing was coming back that I got annoyed.

Understandable. Good idea with emailing her info about bank charges - it's something I've been thinking about doing but wasn't sure whether to what with the hold on the cases at the mo. I'm in the process of (hopefully) reclaiming my PPI on my loan and I tend to do stuff like that one at a time so I might go to work on the bank charges next!

Hope you get something from her. You're very understanding - she's lucky to have such a good friend!

Hoep your friend coughs up something, its nots fair to you, but at least in the nicest of way, you kep reminding her gently, it should fall in somewhere.
Good luck with the budget, hope you get the shortfall sorted, or is it a case of cut x o pay y.
Just a money makeing of sorts but do you review on Dooyoo, its pays well, and you can redeem at £20.00 for Amazon vouchers, or £50.00 if you want cash, I go for Amazon vouchers as theyre going up for xmas shopping. xxx

Its worth spending a bit of time on if the kids let you. Claimed back almost 1000 a couple of years ago.

Yup I think I will do, looks like a bit more legwork than reclaiming the PPI but I'll have another look into it - it's one of those things I've been meaning to do for ages but just not gotten round to.

Are you okay KP - not seen you for a couple of days?
