First timer - Natwest problem.

I need some help with my Natwest claim that is going through.
I have done well up til now on my own but I am well and truly stuck now. I had an offer under FH and I was arguing it because it was a LOT lower than my charges I put in but I have received a letter today in response from them saying they have discounted any charges that do not relate to unarranged borrowing and they can assure me all administration charges were applied in this figure.
I don't know what this means, I have the statements. I never had an Advantage Gold account.
This was an old account that Natwest took to me to default for. Some of the charges towards closure of the account were massive and I physically did not pay them but the default is still there and Natwest could take further action at any time to recover it.
How do I tackle this situation? I really don't know what to say. Their figure is totally different from mine, should I ask for a breakdown if they are saying all my charges are being met and want me to accept in full?
I am beginning to wish I had not started this now but I am trying to clear up a lot of old debt and saw it as a way to bring it down.

Accept it as an interim payment if it will get you out of your immediate hardship problem. The rest that they owe you will stay in the system till the end of the test case.
When you write to them remind them that the rest will be due after the test case
