How do I put spam emails in my blocked senders list?

Can you help me please? I have been getting lots of spam emails, 10 today. that are in a foreign language. as I cannot type the foreign letter into the blocked senders list. I am not sure what to do as if I don't block them they will continue arriving in my in box. Hope you can help. Thanks!

  • This is what I do for MS outlook - it may work on other systems. Right-click on the message in your Inbox, then click on Junk Email, then on Add sender to Blocked Senders List.

I also have Norton Antispam installed; different procedures for that one, but let me know if you have it too.

  • You have to right click on the unopened message. What kind of choices do you get when you do that?

The addresses are usually spoofed anyway, so blocking the sender will not stop the spam. What spam filter are you using? Try turning it up a notch or two.

You can always use a program like Mailwasher which allows you to mark spam messages whilst still on the server and delete them before they are downloaded to your computer.I've been using this program for 7/8 years and never have problems with spam now, its an absolute godsend.Best of all its now free or you can upgrade to the professional version.

If you cannot type the address, perhaps you could try highlighting the address and cut and paste into blocked senders list.
