Re: Profit Margin Software for eBay Sellers

Hello -

I am thinking about selling computer items (buy it now) on ebay and was wondering if there is any software out there that will help me easily price up the items to include my profit margin and minus eBay final selling fees and paypal costs. If i put in what the item will cost me to buy and put in the percentage of profit I want - It should tell me what price I need to sell the item at.

I hope that makes sense!

Thanks

You might be looking at this the wrong way round, start by looking at what the items sell for in the current market and see if that gives you enough to make a go of it even if you drive the market down by competing.

Don;t forget as well to take into account tax and NI plus write offs for losses or returns, they can eat up profit very quickly.

I agree with Soolin you are looking at this the wrong way round. If you do it the way you are suggesting you could easily end up the most expensive items in comparison to competitors and not sell anything.
