Budget inkjet printer?

I need a budget printer with reasonable colour so I can do flyers (need work fast!).
Don't need scanner/fax.
Any recommendations?
Thanks
Chrissy

Remember running costs are more important than purchase price. Check you will be able to use generic consumables and not be craftily chip-lock prevented from doing so.
  • a general rule when buying a printer is, a cheap printer will have expensive ink and an expensive will have cheap ink, these days you can buy a new lexmark printer with ink for a little bit more than the cost of 2 new ink cartridges.

If you are going to be printing alot of flyers then spend the extra money on a printer and you will save in the long run, got one with a decent Dpi, PPM and look for one where the cartridges can be re-filled (google for your local cartridge refill shop)
