Guttering help needed

Hi all,
Recently, our guttering has been leaking and causing damp in 2 rooms, it needs to be replaced at the front, no downpipes at the front and at the rear, where there are 2 sets of down pipes, one from the first floor and one from the extention.
I am one of these people who can't do anything handy around the house so I'd need to get a professional in, we live in a terrace which is about 6m wide and the extention is about 3m wide.
Can anyone give me any advice on what guttering generally costs, what I should be asking of someone I get into do any guttering for me and generally any advice full stop on this?
Many thanks
CL

we had aluminium guttering and plastic down pipes fitted to a terrace - front and back (about 8 m wide), plus bay at front and kitchen inc leaf guards was £700 - was similar price for all 3 companies who quoted so went with the one recommended by a neighbour.People seem not to see that their opinion of the world is also a confession of character.

Plastic guttering is not expensive so the main cost is the labour. Expect to pay £120 to £150 per person per day.
I'd be surprised if 2 people took more than a day from the sounds of it.
If someone quoted over £400 to fit new plastic gutters and downpipes, I'd be wary. Ask for a breakdown of labour and material costs and an estimate of how long it will take to complete the job.0
