AXA Sunlife AVOID AT ALL COSTS

Options
Just a quick question, just wondered if anyone can say they have had more problems with this conmapny than me in the last few months. it feels like i have had them on the phone more times in this time than anyone else in my phone book.

Jan 06 - Set up DD with axa to pay quaterly. DD was taken with a totally random amount and then two more the following week, totally over £80 more than my due payment was.

March 06 - 6 weeks late finally got a refund after several phone calls.

week 2 May 06 - Now trying to cash in policy sent letter to surrender, they said they didnt recieve it

week 3 May 06 - Sent another letter recorded delivery, again said they didnt recieve it, until i mentioned i sent it recorded, then out of thin air it seemed to be there.

week 2 April - Should now have reveived bond money have not so called and they should be ringing me back.

Next day - still no phone call so rang them and they said they had the wrong number for me, even though i gave it to them 3 times. Whilst on the phone they also said they seem to have lost my letter and that i will need to re-send it.

I just cannot believe all the hassle with this company and i recomend that you avoid them at all costs. If anyone else has had this sorts of problems and had them resolved please let me know, so that finally i can get this sorted.

Many thanks

Tom

Not a big fan of AXA products anyway. They dont excel at anything and most of their products are expensive and easily beaten elsewhere.

  • This one was taken out for me 21 years ago, so i didnt have much choice there

I have found in this sort of situation with a major company, then mentioning legal action to reclaim your money or financial ombudsman may get you referred to a department where people suddenly take you seriously.

This sometimes takes a couple of nudges i.e. to the call centre agent, are you authorised to discuss FSA complaints etc. may get a referral to the correct people.

    That's a coincidence...........

I was looking at my Bonus Cashbuilder Plus plan the other night.........I took it out years ago when I couldn't seem to save any money and thought it was a good idea to have it taken directly from my salary and put somewhere I couldn't touch it.......... :p

Now thinking it wasn't such a bright idea.....

Have written an letter to find out how much it will be worth if I surrender it...no doubt I will be disappointed :o
