Is this desktop any good, please?

Spotted this on the Ebuyer website:

http://www.ebuyer.com/product/168998/show_product_overview#

Firstly, is it any good?

People on here have mentioned ebuyer to me in the past, so I presume they are okay to deal with.

It has no OS though, would I be able to buy one/get it installed from Ebuyer?

Would I be better getting this PC (or similar) now, to get Windows 7 installed when it comes out in October?

Sorry for all the questions. (I wouldn't feel confident in installing anything myself).

Basically I am after a (non Dell) desktop for around £300 - £400 with 2-3GB Ram, 320-500GB HDD, CD-DVD Writer etc. Mainly for word processing, emails, photo editing, simple games.

Thanks

  • its not a bad deal tbh, i usually use aria.co.uk but that seems good! you can get software for around 120 quid or less its simple to install, i.e. step by step guides! You should be able to get vista off ebuyer

Yes you can get Vista from Ebuyer (click on the "Software" tab!)
No they won't pre-install it for you.

Alternatively get a PC from them where it comes pre-installed, like this one:

Not quite as good but cheaper once you've added the price of the OS to the other one.
