Hi Broke, hows it going? Have you been paid yet? If so why don't you get the details from the land registry as others have suggested. Presuming you get her address in this way, start communicatiing in writing and sending things recorded delivery (keep the receipts so you can prove they have been sent and more importantly received). I'm not sure that emails re contractual matters hold much weight in a court of law, perhaps others can advise?0

Hiya. Your bank should have given you a receipt when you cancelled your standing order. ALso - if your local CAB is closed is there one in a neighbouring town? I know that they will always give advice even if you don't live within their area.0

Hiya,
I think I now have the information I need. I was wondering if anyone could point me in the direction of a template letter I can send to my landlady threatening court action?
She is now completely ignoring all phone calls and emails from me.0 -

Have you tried googling her name, phone number or email address? It surprising what you can find! If the phone number is a landline this can help (you may be able to reverse lookup to get an address, you can get CD ROMs that do this I think). If you are lucky and she has an unusual name she could be on Facebook, and you could find out who knows her, etc.:j0 -
may i suggest you read Eagerlearners thread - set aside a couple of hours - it will teach you all you need to know about how to go about things with regard to taking your landlord to court - when you have compiled your own draft letter, with all the relevant dates, amounts, S/o dates, rent due, deposit paid, EVERYTHING, if you PM me i will send you my email address and you can send me your draft and i will edit it for you0
