Hello all,

Wondered if anyone knew of a simple, free system bit like sage? Just want it to keep a record of suppliers/customers, invoices received etc. Dont need it for anything fancier than that :D

Thanks

Watch out for Data Protection if you are storing peoples details on a computer, you may need to register for it

The database component of OpenOffice, but you'll need to set up a table for Customers, One for Suppliers, another for Invoices, and setup keys and so forth, if you aren't familiar with relational databases, you will find it complex. It's often worth paying someone, or buying an off-the-shelf product.

Sage isn't very good at this, if far more atuned to accountancy, and I'd not be looking for a comparison to store the type of data you required.

Thanks for your replies. If open office is going to be difficult, think ill give it a miss....the microsoft office looks good, but is it a bit too much? Says about paying ppl and tracking income and expenses etc. Could it be made to be simple enough to just keep the records i want to keep? Ie just received invoices and supplier/customer details?
