Buildings Insurance - HELP!!!

Hi all,
We are buying a house with has *historical* movement.
We had a Home Buyers Report done, and a "Visual Inspection Report" done by a Chartered Building Surveyor.
However we are finding it difficult to find an insurer who will take us for Buildings Insurance.
The house has had no movement for more than 10 years and the Building Surveyors report says they are "satisfied that there is no evidence of any significant or progressive movement to the property".
It is believed that the cause was the old drainage connections running down the side of the house, which have now been removed & replaced.
Any help as to insurers or advice as to the need to declare this information is appreciated.

p.s. the reason we are in a pickle is we need buildings insurance to exchange, and pretty quick too!0

Have you tried using the same Insurer as the vendor has or even taking over thier policy which is the norm in these circumstances0

I was just wondering. As the Mortgage Lender gave a Buildings insurance quote, and as the Mortgage Valuer made the comment "the property shows signs of longstanding movement. Within the confines of our inspection, this does not appear progressive and saleability should not be adversley affected."
As we have an inspection report to show this to be true, do you think the mortgage lender could refuse insurance?0
