Which is a bit like doing all your shopping at sainsburys on a "cashback" card to offset the ridiculous price of your gas and electricity really isnt it?Missing Tesco R&R since Feb '07 :A & now a "Tesco veteran" apparently!0 -
Hi Cardew
I checked a couple of months ago as I am on the same tariff as yours. The charts at work showed we have saved over £700 (can't remember off hand but will check it out Monday) over the course of the fixed price. It also showed our costs if moved to the standard rate will go up 60%!!!!!! I put my DD's up 2 months ago so that I am actually paying more than I will be come April. This way I will not now get a shock . Of course I am currently adding a lot of credit to my account so am making sure at reassessment times they do not drop my DD to 0.
Perhaps Cardew like me you were sent an email with questions last week as BG are going to be giving extra incentives to stay as a BG customer. Unfortunately as soon as question 1 asked if I worked in the energy industry it did not ask any more questions so I am non the wiser. Months ago there was talk of the type of things they may bring in so I will definately stay with BG but go onto a tariff such as Websaver or whatever is available at the time.Self Employed, Running my Dream Jobs0 -

No, not had the email yet; mind you the deal still has over 8 months to run.
The latest EON tariff works out cheapest for me at present(£359 extra). BG Click 4 is below EDF and First Utility at £482 extra.0
