Scrap value for boiler

ok, so with refs to previous posts, I am having a new condensing boiler fitted tomorrow. My 15 year old vaillant combi is going perfectly....does it have any re-sale value either as it is, or for parts, or for scrap??

  • If you give the true description of the Vaillant boiler (output etc) and explain your reasons for selling it, you have a good chance to sell it on Ebay.

    Scrap value= sod all.

You'll probably find that who ever installs it will be glad to leave it with you. Any scrap copper will be 'disposed' of for you though.
