Help on selling Meadow Hay on Ebay

I am hoping to get into selling Meadow Hay for rabbits etc on ebay. I can get it bagged up ok in 2Kg bags but I am stuck as to how to send it. Would I need to put the poly bag in a cardboard box and then send it? Also would I use royal mail for this and what would it cost?
I am stuck on as to how to progress it. I see plenty of other sellers doing this but I don't have the knowledge in this particular area.
