ebuyer 53 minutes on hold

I know a lot of you use ebuyer.
On Thursday morning I was ringing to confirm an RMA for a twenty quid item I wanted to return.
53 minutes in the queue. 10 years ago I was trying to cancel sky and they kept me waiting 45 minutes. I thought this one would never get beaten.
What a shameful effort.
And why did I need to ring? the RMA was on the email. It just needed to be confirmed by their returns section.
For a few years I was spending literally thousands of pounds with ebuyer each year. This was my first order with them in 2 years. Will be my last.
How do you run a business with that kind of ineptitude customer service?
So the ebuyer's moral of the story is, if's a small value item, don't even attempt to send it back to us because it'll cost you more for the phone call and post and in terms of time than it's worth. Nice.

PS use to like tears for fears, pale shelter one of my favourite songs they did0 -
each time i've had to RMA something with ebuyer, it has all been done and authorised online... no need to phone..
they are an online company, so their support on their website does everything i've ever needed it to do...0 -
I've always had great service from ebuyer, and in particular I've had no problem whatsoever with RMAs. They've even paid my postage on DSR returns. Never had to phone them once, all done using the on-line 'e-notes' system. I imagine if they employed loads of call centre staff they wouldn't have such competitive prices.0

My last couple of RMA's with Ebuyer required me to ring to confirm.
In fact it was only one RMA but after they "Tested" it, they returned it "no fault found".
I re-raised the RMA eventually winning and getting a replacement.
I didn't have much of a wait on the phone either time though to be fair.
Ebuyer are going down the pan, the reviews getting heavily screened is another area they are failing.
Try giving a poor review to anything with the Ebuyer name on, absolutely NO CHANCE it will reach the site.0 -
I remember reading that there reviews can be rather biased.
