Where to put my memory card?

I have a Amilo Pro V2055, and I want to know where I can put my memory card.

I have found somewhere on the laptop, which comes out, and has four spaces to put something(probably not making sense), and I just wondered if this is the place to put the card?

The memory card is microSD/TransFlash adaptor.

if you have the adaptor, this makes your card the size of a standard SD card. It'll probably fit in that weird shaped slot, and slightly stick out. the SD bit is normally central at the bottom, and the gold contacts go down..

if you don't have the adaptor and only a card the size smaller than a 5p piece... that won't work

no, i think you have a small sdcard chip, which needs the bigger casing to allow it to fit into the card reader slot,

the adapter (casing) is approx th e size of a postage stamp
smile --- it makes people wonder what you are up to.... ;)

According to the specs at http://www.ciao.co.uk/Fujitsu_Siemens_AMILO_Pro_V8210_Core_Duo_T2300E_1_66_GHz_15_4_TFT__6852631

    it has a

    Card reader

Type: 3 in 1 card reader
Supported Flash Memory Cards: SD Memory Card, Memory Stick, MultiMediaCard

It seems to me that that is what you have found and so long as the microSD is in its adaptor taking it up to SD card size it should fit in the slot. They usually go in contacts down and so long as you don't try to force it you shouldn't be able to break anything.
