Car boots....are they worth it?

Just had 2 sundays selling at a car boot in Stafford. Does anyone else think that they are not really worth it??? I paid £16 over the 2 sundays and sold about £110 of things...but it was loads of effort and ended up bringing loads of things home. Even DVDs and CDs weren't selling at 50p a go; clothes (also 50p a go) came home too...ironically things from Primark sold while Next shirts didnt. Granted lots of other stalls seem to go home with full cars too.
All my stuff was good quality and in good nick: I dont have much money and take care of my possessions.
What do buyers want??? I had a few big model kits, unopened and shrinked wrapped, that cost £10 to buy...sold none at £4...£2 being usual offer. Ebay for those.
I wouldnt waste my time again at a carboot as I was fed up with the attitude of buyers. Anyone think anything like this....??!

Lot's of newly unwaged, distressed sellers right now, not much money in peeps pockets = silly low prices.

i went to a carboot yesterday. i don't normally buy things at car boots - was just passing and decided to have a nosy.

the stuff on the stalls looked awful - i wouldn't have wanted to touch the things never mind buy them!

most of the cars were packing up as i was there and they all took car fulls home with them.

when i have done a car boot in the past i make about £50-£70 a time. i think that is worth it for a sunday mornings work - i usually turn up at 8 and leave at 12 .
