Hi everyone - I wasn't around at the weekend as we went to Cornwall to visit the in-laws and see Granny's new swimming pool - so T and B enjoyed that! I had a LSWeekend. Just 5.99 on a lovely print. I also cashed in some Walkers Crisps points so that we could spend the day at Lanhydrock, which saved us about £60! :money:( I've wanted to go there since I saw it on Kirstie's Homemade Home).

Well done Fay - can't believe how quick you kicked the Hairy Scary Loan to the kerb!:AWatch out Evil Edna!

    Today is not a NSD.....
    1) Sc x 10p
    2) Checked bank, quidco, surveys etc
    3) Did the weekly shop at Lidl - £32 for the four of us, not bad!
    4) Bought a top for my friend's wedding at Monsoon, for £10 in the 70% off sale.
    5) All meals at home.
    6) Looked for a frame for my new print but haven't found one cheap enough yet.
    7) Contact ebay seller about a top I won in an auction - it has arrived and is very obviously a man's top!
    8) I'm taking B to see Time Traveller's Wife at the cinema with my Monday 2 for 1 pass.
    9) Continue to look online for a second-hand fridge.
    10) Bought some Sanctuary body wash in the clearance section at Boots and paid in points.
    11) Did not give into B's demands for anything and everything she saw today.

Right - I suppose I'd better do some housework....:(
    See you tomorrow, L x

    Hi everybody :j

Late posting today because of w*rk - I was really bored today - have I done the right thing

Still, I can put up with it till the mortgage is paid off (the pay is quite good), then I will do something for 'me' :j

    Apart from that, I have:

Checked online banking (as expected, no better, no worse)

    Seen to animals and plants

    HM meals

I would like to do a freezer inventory like Fay, but mine is probably even more scary :eek: and it is ALWAYS full up

DD2 has found a house today (has been back at home after her relationship broke down :( - she was to have got married in October). Still, better now than after, I guess. She is going to share with a friend from work who is in a similar situation, so hopefully that will work out ok for a while.... She will move after the usual credit checks etc, which will be ok, as she has no debt and a good job, so not all bad for her at the moment. It is horrid to see her so upset though :(:(:(

Good luck re the job Candy!

Dawn - thanks for the good luck.......Walked into work and apparently it all hit the fan on Friday.....Needless to say, we all got pulled into 2 meetings today to 'plan' how to get out of this mess.

No news on the job front today (didnt see the guy who was going to sign off the job) and not too sire whether I want it....The woman I am working with patronises me (I have 8 years accounts experience and she doesn't give 2 hoots about the job as she is retiring!)

Rant over and breathe! - needless to say I am looking on the net at jobs as we speak!
