Monday 17th August - What small DFW things have you done today?!

When we start out on the DFW trail we do loads of "big stuff" that makes quite a difference to our situation. These include having our lightbulb moment, cutting up the credit cards and cancelling Sky and the gym.
But once we have done the bigger stuff, we often feel that we are not making the same amount of progress, when in fact the small steps are helping us form good financial habits and helping us get closer everyday to staying in control and becoming debt free, or staying debt free
Examples could be charging your phone up at work instead of at home to save your electricity, hanging washing out instead of using the tumble dryer or leaving your purse/wallet at home to avoid the risk of spending.
So be proud of those small steps, they really are important :j:D
Morning All,
Hello to everyone who posts today. Hugs to those that need them.
Today I have/will:
• Checked online banking
• Do the usual checks for jobs etc
• Go to work and get last week’s timesheet signed and faxed off
• Apart from my bus pass, have a NSD
• Enter comps online
• Look at signing up for Virgin Bingo
• Fingers crossed my temp role is going to be signed off for a permanent role today, and it is assumed that I will apply for it and get it (I will apply if 1 – the money is right, 2 – there is a chance of promotion or more training, 3 – they do not credit check me)…….Will keep my eyes peeled for the job alert.
• Deal with any fall out from my day off on Friday and book more time off
• Try not to lose my rag with a person who is helping me out at the moment with the work but thinks the way we do things is stupid and their way is much better……I quite often answer her questions with because!
Think that is about it…..have a great day everyone
