                    Hi
I wonder if anyone could help me.
I have an extra £250 a month (regularly every month) which could be used for savings. Where is the best place to put this?
I have heard talk of ISAs e.g. Natwest which offers 5.00%AER, however, is this better than a regular savers account (e.g. Halifax at 7% AER/gross p.a. or Alliance and Leicester Premier Regular Saver at 10.00% gross p.a./AER fixed for a year)? Or is there somewhere else?
Any advice or guidance gratefully received.
Many thanks

            Hi
See this recent thread: Alliance&Leicester 10%pa v Tax Free (Isa etc) . Don't hesitate to ask further questions ...0 -
the difference is that with A&L you have to have a bank account with them, with Halifax you do not. if you bank with A&L i'd take up their offer0

Funny enough, I put £250 per month into a Maxi Isa cash component. Whenever I have a little more I put some into the shares component. My savings have increased dramatically over the years in this way.ok, so i'm hot...
