I would expect a little bit of consideration,at least. You don't always know what situation you can get in . Hope life's for you a rollercoaster over roses. Thanks for your reply!!!

Buying a car for £17000ish then deciding a couple of weeks later that you cannot afford it, come on....get real.

Anyway the reality is, it is going to cost you loads of money.

Sympathy, perhaps if you explained what caused this change of heart, you may get a tinge of sympathy, however I somehow doubt that there are any circumstances that could possibly justify any.

I think maybe everyone is being too harsh. It is possible that the OP was suddenly made redundant without warning, or struck by some other calamity. Nobody buys a £17K car and then decides a week or two later that they can't afford, it just like that. Sadly, I have a feeling we won't hear from the OP again after all the things posters have written.
I used to think that good grammar is important, but now I know that good wine is importanter.

Erm, surely anybody with an ounce of sense makes allowances for the unforeseen, and puts that in to the equation before committing themselves.

Anyway, I reckon that this is a wind up..nobody could be this stupid.

There is always the possibility of mental health problems. Severe depression, for example, can lead to irrational behaviour.

Having a Brand New Car but deciding to ride a bike for a week satisfies that criteria.

So can plain stupidity, if a person has mental health problems they quite simply should not be entering in to any financial commitments such as this, they should seek help.

Talking about stupidity, can you hear yourself?

So people with mental health problems wake up one morning and think, hmmm I am feeling a bit mental today, I better seek help!

The poster was seeking help, not judgement on their sanity. For gods sake give them a break.

If you are not going to give a constructive answer, then dont respond.

Can you hear yourself?, nobody has any evidence that the OP has any mental health problems, even the OP has made no mention of it, people are just making excuses for what was an effectively a plain stupid thing to do.

So what if it is a stupid thing to do.
