Please help? Any advice greatly appreciated:j!
I've just "bought" a new car with car finance about 2 and a half weeks ago. Travelled with it to Holland and back. What are my options of returning the vehicle without being stuck to have to pay monthly £450,00 which I really can't afford. I know it's a stupid mistake! _pale_
I went back to the dealer and the manager said she'll contact the finance company (which will be tomorrow)and give me a ring. However I'm very anxcious that I won't be able to come out of this, although hopefull I will.
Has anyone been in similar situation or knows what is best to do ,just let me know Thanks a million in advance!!! I already wrote a thread but I just registered and I can't find it anywhere on the site:confused:
The car costs £16,780,33 if I pay off the whole lot in one go.It's a volkswagen plus tsi se. What are my options?
Will the finance company let me off with a penalty and that's the end of it?
An other problem the bike carrier caused dents in the bumper would it cost much to repair? I'm devastated by all this ,I truly hope for a good way out. Kind regards,Meriam:cry:

I think thats its upto the finance companys discretion (i may be wrong!!!) but im sure if you signed the agreement then you only have 7/14 days cooling off period.
Why not contact the finance company yourself and explain the full situation?

I bet you do ! MSE is Money Saving, not Money Screwing!
  • Your car will not be worth what you paid for it by a long shot. Probably worth about £12k as it is now used. So I doubt you will be able to just give it back. The finance company wont want to lose money nor will the dealer.

Sorry but this HAS to be a Troll.

Biking holidays abroad but now no food!!!

If it IS genuine, maybe the finance company will let you off with a penalty..... about £16,780.33 should do it.

    What a great story!

I'll take over the loan, Meriam, and you can keep the car, but only if you marry me.

You have to be taking the pi ss?

The OP asked - has anyone been in a similar situation? I doubt it! :rotfl:

Why didn't they just hire one?
