Horace - in view of slightly dysfunctional coach travel down this way :rotfl::D:cool:

...text us when you get to Felbridge/East Grinstead.,,,,we can then ensure we meet you at bus stop
    xxxxx

I will do what I can to send a text - I know vaguely what Numpty and you look like but no-one knows me, I shall be wearing a hat, am wearing some cheese cloth striped cropped trousers, walking sandals, green t-shirt and natural cashmere cardigan (its light) will have small black suitcase and blue rucksack containing diary, clothes and stuff.

I am now worried that the coach travel is dysfunctional I cannot cope with anything dysfunctional right now after battling with virgin media anyway I have written a lovely piece on my blog about them:rotfl:

I have packed one of my 4N magnetic name badges so that folks know who I am (at least my real name - they don't say Horace).

    See y'all later.

Yep, I *am* getting excited now! Have remembered the handbag to dance around, its a green sequinny number thats a bit hippy chick, so Z can laugh :kisses3: erm, I don't actually *need* the Bee Gees tho :o:o:o.

I was watching the weather forecast this morning, and it looks fine to me - thanks for the quorn thoughts! I'm packing for this and the barbecue/memorial thing further west on the Sunday (I realise I have *no* idea where I'm going on the Sunday) so I'll be toting my little trolley case. I'll get the normal little 270 bus from Haywards Heath, and turn up at your door in the early afternoon - it starts from 1pm right? Did I write that down right?

    And breathe.:kisses3:

    Hi KC

Yes - 1pm start. The Sharpthorne road is closed for roadworks at the moment - so don;t get alarmed if the bus is diverted further south and drops you in the centre of the village - might be an idea to check the bus company's web site......let me know if there's a problem.

Well, it's only taken a year but I have finally got the Ombudsman's adjudication. It's not good - they have only upheld approx £1,600 against the £70,000 of expenses/losses I was claiming and awarded a further £400 on top of the £350 offered by the insurance company for stress and inconvenience :mad:

This has been a total waste of time - as they are saying the losses are consequential losses as a direct result of the flood (i.e. not as a result of the way the claim was mis-handled) and therefore they aren;t covered.I was actually hoping to get back about £40,000 as I didn;t realistically epect them to cover the building rectification works - I only included it because the Ombudsman told me to do so. I should have gone straight to court ...:mad:

Anyhow - I am not going to let it upset me :D...I have whooshing to do .....in preparation for all my guests...:)...I will decide what to do about the adjudication next week....(once I've got rid of the hangover ;))

    Whoosh!!

B***ggr. That surprises me, it really does. And if you've suffered loss as a direct result of the flood, well, thats what you insured against, isn't it - I appreciate the claim mishandling thing ... shouldn't go into it, actually, you're right about putting it to one side, the Rave is so close now, the time isn't there, is it .... well, anyway, it stinks.

Thanks for the tip about the 270 - I use traveline.info to get around, the bus companies themselves are hopelessly out of date, I'll let you know what it says.
