hi all,
is it possible to post a link on youtube say for example this and then view it - http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/8104645.stm
or would I have to upload the raw footage of the file in question before I can view it.
Hope i'm making sense
basically can you upload links? thanks

The BBC probably own the copyright. You'd have had to have downloaded the video from the BBC and then uploaded it.
But why do that, when there are plenty on there already? http://www.youtube.com/results?search_query=Kimberley+Vlaeminck&search_type=&aq=f0 -
thank you pastures new - you are always on the renting and selling board - is there anything you don't know!!!
I was just using that tattoo story as an example - if I had a private link say of me:p and I wanted to post it and get in on youtube - would i have to download it first and then save it and reupload it, can you not just upload from a link if that makes sense0 -

Yes, I think that you would somehow have to download it first then upload it to YouTube.
I'm pretty sure that YouTube will accept only files, not links.

Why did you post that particular video?
I just ask, because by a huge coincidence, when it gets to the end, one of the video links that then comes up is of me!!!
With the video of me, I asked the reporter who did it if she could send me the file, which she was happy to do, and it's now embedded in my website for the tattoo removal site - and I have it on YouTube. How to find a dentist.
1. Get recommendations from friends/family/neighbours/etc.
2. Once you have a short-list, VISIT the practices - dont just phone. Go on the pretext of getting a Practice Leaflet.
3. Assess the helpfulness of the staff and the level of the facilities.
4. Only book initial appointment when you find a place you are happy with.0 -
