I am off on leave after today but need to drive to Mum's tonight
Saturday is up early to get DD to work. Sunday it will be food shop for which ever GT is left behind to look after the cat.
Sunday night its down to Mum's to pack - carpets should be laid at the bungalow on Tuesdsay. Possible trip to Southampton on Monday - move day Wednesday. Back home on Wednesday night so can get DD to school for GCSE results. Thursday pm down to Mum's. Finish moving the boxes and unpacking for Mum on Thursday pm and Friday. Friday night back home again so I can take DD to work on Saturday. Sunday down to Mum's to start clearing the house/garden at the old house - ie need to clean etc cut back garden/ yet more trips to the dump. Back home on Bank Holiday Monday so i can get ready for work on Tuesday - already know that this is a busy day with several home visits - oh hum!!
Oh and in that time I need to empty both sheds and finish Mum's packing.
OMG - I am going to be shattered as each trip down is a 2 hour drive - my sister has deigned to arrive on Sunday this week and may help with a little packing while she is there :mad::mad:

I have a list a mile and half long for the weekend, starting with Monday to Friday list, I also have a nice young man coming back to be in my garden on Saturday to do some concreting!
I am now also the owner of 15 rolls of turf!! once concreting is done, and has gone off on Sunday hopefully I can lay the turf.
Cat1 seems to 'think it is funny' to bring me dead mice etc into the bedroom at 1 - 3am, oddly he has not done this before, only since cat2 left for cat heaven on Tuesday, maybe it is his way to say his is missing her.....who knows.
Running away, ....about 2 years ago I ran away, I got fed up, grabed my car keys, and phone, and went, didn't know where to drive to, so went about 3 miles from house, down a lane, and just sat in the car for most of the day.....turned phone off, but took no money with me...nothing to eat all day... finally went home and OH wasn't there, it seems he got fed up with trying to ring me, so had gone for a long walk, we kissed and made up, when he did get back!Breast Cancer Now 100 miles October 2022 100 / 100miles

I suppose I should do something between now and my pedicure at 8 o'clock!
So far today I've been and handed in my new contract, been out to lunch with my soon-to-be-ex-team, had a gossip with our employee rep, had a meeting about a contract issue, packed up my books and brought them home...
... I've opened my mail to find out that my employee discount has just been applied to my account (it's an annual lump sum!), which is great timing!
I've also discovered that my login has been disabled so I can't get into work systems (I can still email via blackberry)... they aren't usually that efficient! Still, I've phoned them, and if they CBA to fix it, I CBA to complain anymore...
... and I've started writing a list of who I need to invite to my leaving do... 127 so far... and I'm sure I've missed people off!
Need to clear up ready for my dad's arrival tomorrow - hopefully he's going to put up another shelf in my study...0 -
Hi,
Well done to your DD Carlsberggal:beer:.
Rose the girl wasn't ill, i think the reason she kept falling asleep was a heavy night the night before;). She was only on the course a day or two, she took the day off for a funeral and never came back. She did amuse us though and seemed a nice girl, it's such a shame . It looks like she was murdered, they've arrested someone in connection with it.
Flying wise none again:o i haven't long got back. We went to soft play then Nev's for lunch, then Tesco. I need to sort tea now.0 -
