Huge hugs for Jo
Lady L - my big cats are bringing little presents for the kitten - suitably stunned and ready for him to play with. The garden is full of half eaten mice. Really pleased they have accepted him but not a huge fan of picking the bodies up before the chickens eat them. Are your bigger cats any happier with your two?
Triker- love the names - is a boy chicken a problem? I know I couldn't have one here. Whenever I mention the chickens I always get asked if it is our !!!! who keeps half the village awake. We are down to just the two girls now and could do with a couple more for the extra eggs, but not sure how to introduce them.
I did lots of S&Sing earlier, then we went to soft play for 2.5 hours. Lunch has now been eaten and I need to get off my bum and get on. DH is working hard(drinking a cup of tea and reading Lady Chatterleys Lover last time I looked......) so I will disturb him with the dyson shortly.

Good Morning all :hello:
Its been a busy weekend here again. Yesterday we picked our bathroom but like muppets we did not take the measurements with us so have to go and order it tonight.
I cannot wait to get it done i am so excited i have spent 5 years embarrassed about my bathroom and finally i will have a bathroom where i won't feel sick to the stomach about if someone asks to use the toilet! I have decided on white tiles with a row of 3 high mosaic tiles around the top for a border and the funiture i have picked is stunning. Its a little more expensive than i first budgeted but we decided we may as well do it right! I have had a quote for the fitting and all labour including tiling, new floor and plastering, i had budgeted £1500 but its gonna come in at just under 2k including the suite. I got a 2 quotes from local bathroom companies and they quoted 3.5k and 4k for almost identical to what i am gonna get for 2k so although its more than i budgeted i am saving by doing it this way. We are going to get it fitted in September when the kids are back at school.
Ask them to quote you without tiles and the tiling labour. You will be amazed at the difference. I know a great tiler
;)

Hi gsysezz good to see you back and have a squishy hug from me - I hope things start to get beter for you and Ds now. It will be good to have the place tidy and looking the way you want it to be.I'm back in this week. The Ex has moved out today, considering we split in May it's not a day too soon. He's taken a car load of belongings and will get more over the week. So a huge de-clutter in one day :-/ My DS hasn't even raised an eyebrow so far.... he's autistic so it could have gone either way. I'll settle for the not stressed approach though bless him.
So back on with the lists this week. Nobody to blame but myself for living in a mess now. I've got new sheets on the bed and the Cath Kidston tablecloth is back out as it wasn't allowed before.
Looking forwards....... Thanks to everyone for posting. xx
lav1979 (((hugs))) yes that sort of thing is very draining - I hope you can get a compromise sorted soon.
zoe I love the sound of the tree - very original and artistic.

msgnomey hope you have a great time at your DD's
bonsibabe :rotfl::rotfl:you will be struggling for reflexology with your phobia!!! The mobility car scheme is great - all you pay is the petrol - I hope it makes a huge difference to you both. How exciting getting a new car - what kind are you getting?
triker aw hugs honey - sorry to hear you have been carp again - have you been overdoing it? I hope a day of rest puts you back on track again xx
lil_me - you have been doing brilliantly - enjoy the holiday - hope the LL doesnt give you an hassle.
back to catching up!

Hi Valli - thanks! Spoke to the council and they said to pay the lunches daily as when the paperwork comes in they can do it straight away, and they will repay me all the money i have paid! Spoke to my mum and she said she would pay their lunches for this week which should give us time to sort the mess out! And when the money gets repaid, it will go straight to her! Problem almost sorted!!!
Thanks for the advice, I phoned the council straight away and they said as soon as i get the paperwork to go direct to them and they will sort it out straight away. I'll also be entitled to £50 for each child towards their school uniforms. Not bad considering they are all bought! But can use the money for winter coats and shoes for the girls, and the rest can get put towards any bills that come in.
Right am in the middle of trying to sort DD1's tip of a bedroom! Got some extra drawers and trying to shift them into a space I made, so that all the school clothes can go in there! Leaves another 3 drawers for the stuff she has yet to grow into! She is only 7 but has more clothes than me!!!!!
Hi tooti - I'm determined to do the course even though I absolutely hate feet!!! I am a wreck after sorting out the kids toenails lol. But hopefully it will help me to be a bit better round feet. Its more the aromatherapy and counselling I'm interested in as it would enable me to go self employed which would be much better with the bratz!
I'm getting a Ford Focus Zetec! It's smaller than the Zafira we currently have (which is getting sold as soon as DH comes home from his hols!) but well big enough for us! All I really need is a car big enough for me and the kids as DH is planning on getting himself a runaround with the profits from the sale of the zafira, and the focus was a pleasure to test drive. Plus my bestest friend in the whole world has one which I drive quite regularly so I knew it was a good car. It sure is a bonus only having to pay for petrol, was quite impressed to find out when it needs a service, the dealership will come and collect it, and leave me a courtesy car as well!
Off I go again!!!LBM - August 2008 - Debts then - £33390 - 2nd LBM - November 2009 - Debts then - £18500:mad:

Mice  my little ones have perfected the art of catching & killing them & bring them in regularly  hate the things.....because we live near a farm there are plenty. The older cats have taken to the kittens quite well now, a bit of paw thumping just to put them in their place but generally good.
LL How are you getting on with your planning and organising
Slowly
, can't remember who suggested the ring binder so that I can add & remove pages as necessary, but that is the option I have decided on (even bought a new one with butterflies on ) DH has realised it's a good idea now & is amazed how much I actually do & know around the house...for that read everything  & admits he would be at a loss if he had to start running the finances etc his opinion is he goes to work & earns the money & I distribute it
Thanks everyone for all the ideas though, it has given me food for thought on a few things. Just touching briefly on the funeral arrangements.....I am 47, I can't seem to find any info for a pre-paid one for under 50's.........strange the things you find out isn't it
FFP tell HRH she looks very smart x
pigpen good news on the insurance
valli have a good time in London
Must leave FB farms alone & go & do a bit of ironing.
