That sounds like great fun Merlin - closest I have come to the BBMF was seeing them fly home from somewhere over the garden - big bomber (Wellington I think) frightened the socks off the cat as it flew really low and she is used to jets like the Euro fighter not a plane with propellers.

would've been the dak or the lancaster ;) i work on the eurofighters :D
  • Right time for my list for today and tomorrow before i go trekking down south again!!:D

    • washing - several loads
    • put dry washing away
    • upload pictures of sheds and greenhouse to Turbo lister
    • list said items on ebay
    • empty rubbish bins
    • HHC in my bedroom
    • HHC in DS's room
    • HHC in DD's room
    • HHC in utility and hall
    • HHC in living room
    • clear more post
    • clear more from sofa - i know - :o:o:o:o - it is better just not completely cleared - it is obviously a very hot spot!!:D
    • put little hoover and dyson in the car - Mum's hoover has blown up so I will leave her my little one
    • try and find room for DS at uni
    • Pluck up courage to contact ex OH as will need him to contribute to rent for said room.
    • Write short notes to friends as feel guilty that have not been in touch for ages and ignoring texts as cannot cope with any more at the moment.
    • complete Mum's AA form - not looking forward to this as it has to be just right or it will be rejected as it was before.
Oh my goodness - still loads to do - best get started!!

    HHC anyone?

Thankyou Merlin - I did wonder what plane it was as I could see little glass panes on the front and further down the plane - not modern looking at all.

We have had Euro fighters playing chase right over us a few weeks ago as everyone came out to look as the noise was tremendous!! We are some way from their base and don't normally see them here - I just see them when I am out and about with work nearer the coast.

Rose the girl wasn't ill, i think the reason she kept falling asleep was a heavy night the night before;). She was only on the course a day or two, she took the day off for a funeral and never came back. :confused:She did amuse us though and seemed a nice girl, it's such a shame . It looks like she was murdered, they've arrested someone in connection with it.
Oh no, that's terrible, so sad

Valli it sounds like you had a fantastic time in London! I bet you did lose pounds (weight) and pounds (money)!

Lady Liberty, nice to see you posting, sorry you are in so much pain today, am thinking of you xx

Congratulations to Carlsberggal’s DD and Pigpen on their grades

Have a great holiday everyone who is going away this weekend

Lil_me you are right about DP’s brother, he sounds like he’s being a right pain!

Soappie nice pics, glad you had a nice time

    Hugs Bonsibabe

Triker glad to hear your cat is ok, take it easy today

Toots, glad you and the Shattered’s had such a nice time, are you seeing them again while they are on holiday?

Are you alright Jinky? What did you do last night?

I'm doing a bit better today - had a really bad night's sleep so have had a restful morning but am okish. DH has gone out with his dad to get the new car as his dad wants to have a look and check everything is ok with it before we buy it. Hopefully he will approve and DH will come home with a new car!
I'm gonna take it easy this afternoon as we are going out to see a friend tonight, really looking forward to it!

I've edited my list on the last page to save gumming up the thread, but I've scrubbed the kitchen sink with a brillo pad and cillit banged the limescale around the tap (I know it's awful stuff but I just couldn't shift it! I've watered all the plants and given the dusty ones a cold shower, got a mug soaking with a steradent tablet in and taken all the gunk out of an old handbag which was under my bed - found my presumed lost umbrella in the process!

I'm also showered and dressed and ready for my lunch :)

bonsibabe we have a trail of free school meals for all kids in primary school here, going to make a massive difference to so many people

Think DPs brother has helped him today as he's just text asking if he can bring him here with him, I said don't think I am buying drinks for you both in the bar all week if you do as last time it cost me a fortune. See what happens I suppose.

Sat next to pool while kids play, will get them out in a mo to go empty washing machine. Vacuumed and done all water this morning so that is done. Think I need to go shopping for some basics.
One day I might be more organised...........

The Eurofighter is the most awesome plane I've ever had the privilege to watch display! But the Reds are still my favourite display team

  • Afternoon peeps

Am feeling much better today tho' have still got stomach cramps

Am now trying to summon up the impetus to do my Spanish TMA - am in a serious quandary about this course - have only got 1 TMA and then a spoken exam and written piece to hand in but I've hit a real wall and don't know whether to carry on with it - I know I should, but should is a pee poor excuse when you're hating every last second spent on it - any advice?

Will do 15 mins to try and get me started...
    I'd rather be watching CSI!
