Keep trying!! Finally got through after days of trying and got a confirmation email to say one is in the post!!!

I found the form kept getting stuck when using form-filling tools, so just entered manually. Might just be coincidence though!

OK, I think I might have cracked it. You have to fill in ALL the fields, even if it means repeating stuff, e.g. I only need 3 lines for my address but they give you 4 fields so I just entered in the City in two of the fields. I also filled in phone number which I hadnt done previously. I tried this twice (after trying other things loads in the past few days) and it worked both times. I also got the emails to confirm a medal will be on its way. The email came instantly.

Don't worry, if you try to register again it will tell you if you've already registered and won't disqualify you. I spoke to someone on the phone after I didn't get an email and she re-registered me herself and told me it would simply pop up with a message saying I was registered if it had worked the first time. She assured me no-one would be disqualified, they simply wouldn't be able to register the same details twice.

My registration has gone through this time. I notice that they seem to have changed the registration page slightly. You're now asked for an existing customer number (if you have one) and where you found out about the site.

Just thought I'd try again, and ............. it worked, got an email back to say I'd registered. So the old adage works, if at first you don't succeed try try try again (or give up, as I nearly did)
