New kitchen mixer tap dripping/dribbling out?

I have a new kitchen mixer tap, its from B & Q. I originally had one that dripped out so returned and got a different one. But that is doing the same. The problem is only with the cold. When I turn the hot off, it goes off - no dribbling or dripping. However when I turn the cold off it dribbles out for a few seconds and drips very intermittently. Its not a lot of drips just a few drops now and again after the original dribbling out.
Anyway, is this normal? This is the second tap I have had now. The tap I did have is no good as its really old. Thanks!

Could be the fitting, or that the cold water is under very high pressure and the hot is low pressure/tank fed? Make sure the fitting is for mains / high pressure.0

high neck taps do this, the water sometimes stays in the neck of the tap, the initial main dribble will be the water which is left just past the highest part.
some other drops appear with air changes, opening doors around the house cause this, although a constant drop is unusual unless there is a fault in the valve.0 -
It is the same with all Shepperd's Crook type tap outlets.
The water is held in for a short while by atmospheric pressure and then dribbles out.
Something you have to live with in that type of tap.I used to be indecisive but now I am not sure.0
